Why We Walk: Sherry’s Story
We asked our volunteers and supporters to share with you why they walk in the Petathlon and why they raise funds for Save-A-Pet through this annual event. Here is a story from Save-A-Pet volunteer Sherry.

“Homeless: Lost, Abandoned, Unwanted, Abused, Neglected, or Dumped on the side of the road. In need of Medical care that pet guardians can no longer provide. In Need of Rescue, Nutrition, Shelter, Love, in Need of Respect. They can only ask for help with their eyes, because they have no voices.
These are reasons why Save A Pet is here and why I walk.

Second chances, a New life, Opportunity for a new dawn, a New Beginning: Nourishment, Shelter, Protection, Health care, Kindness, Compassion, Care, Affection, Admiration, Humanity, Integrity.
+++
These are reasons why Save A Pet is here and why I walk.
+++
Loving, forgiving eyes, Wet noses, Happy tails, Comforting purrs, Constant companionship, Laughter & smiles, Acceptance, Sloppy kisses, Warm greetings, Security guard, Commitment and loyalty, God’s Creatures and Unconditional love.
+++
These are reasons why Save A Pet is here and why I walk.“
